First published in 1998, this updated edition contains photographs, drawings and descriptions of over 400 buildings in and around Stockholm, from the earliest times down to the present day. The guide is divided into different regions and accompanied by historical maps, a chronological building index, a short history of Stockholm’s urban planning, and a new section on buildings realised between 2001 and 2009. Each entry featured can be located on the clearly designed maps and are accompanied by a short text detailing important aspects about the building, a photograph and a floor plan.
